Hello! I am Yanran Huangfu
a game designer & artist making interactive experiences through purposeful spaces and visual storytelling.
I’m currently pursuing an MFA in Interactive Media & Games @USC.
Before games, I trained in Social Anthropology (MSc, @LSE) and Urban Planning (BSc, @UCL). I’m especially interested in level, systems, and combat design, and I build work that’s player-first: clear goals, readable encounters, and strong feedback through iteration.
